Global Target Populations: National Education Foundation works with institutions, public and private sector organizations, NGOs, schools, colleges, universities and students all over the world.

Grants: We provide academic, digital and workforce training grants (tuition free courses) to students and adults in many countries including:

India: Since 2005, we have provided affordable, high-quality IT and Soft Skills training and certifications to tens of thousands of Indian youth including free training to the slum school students in Delhi. In 2011, NEF launched the MIITE (Million Indians IT Education) project in India in partnership with IGNOU, the world’s largest Open University with 4 million students. The goal of the project is to train, certify a million underprivileged Indian youths in IT and Soft Skills, and help place them in jobs.

 Egypt: In partnership with AMCHAM (American Egyptian Chamber of Commerce), NEF has  trained 6,500 Egyptian employees and jobseekers in IT and professional skills. Over 40,000 certificates awarded to date, with a satisfaction rate over 90%.

Mauritius: NEF  has awarded a multi-million dollar, multi-year grant to the Government of Mauritius to train  all Mauritians in ICT.

Terror-Prone Countries: NEF believes that training and placing in jobs unemployed college graduates in terror-prone countries is the most cost-effective way to combat global terrorism. The U.S. State Department is interested in NEF’s terrorism-fighting education projects.
